My 12 year old is a 12 year old. He is experiencing a chemical imbalance of the brain as is associated with middle school or so the pediatrician tells me.
Why was I not given a manual when he was a baby to describe this behavior? Why didn't someone warn me or say "hey, lady he's all cuteness and coos now but in 12 years you will have the blues."
Dammit doctors why haven't you created some kind of guide to help parents ailing with preteens and teenagers!!
I know its not easy- nothing in life is designed to be such but still...a warning of adolescent insanity that has managed to come into my life so forcefully would have been nice.
geez.
